My first ten or so eggs died from lack of views, and then I realised that if I stuck them into blog posts they'd get more than enough views to hatch (they need around 700 to get to full adulthood). They hatch faster if people click on them, but even if no-one does, plenty of views will still do the trick. The eggs won't hatch until they're at least three and a half days old.
BTW, you can 'cheat' by going to the scroll page you link other people to, ie: http://dragcave.net/user/maryavatar and hitting refresh a few hundred times.
